General Information
De Montfort Universityเเต่เดิมมหาวิทยาลัยเเห่งนี้ถูกก่อตั้งมาในฐานะ Leicester College of Art ในปี1870 และต่อมาได้ถูกแต่งตั้งเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเต็มตัวเมื่อปี 1992 ได้มีการรวมตัวกันของ Bedford College of Higher Education กับ Lincolnshire College of Art and DesignและLincolnshire College of Agricultureand Horticultureจนกลายมาเป็น De Montfort University ในปัจจุบัน
มหาวิทยาลัยมีชื่อเสียงในงานวิจัยและมีการเรียนการสอนที่ดีเยี่ยมปัจจุบันมีนักเรียนประมาณ 20,500 คนมหาวิทยาลัยตั้งอยู่ในเมือง Leicester ทางตอนเหนือของ London ใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ 75 นาทีโดยรถไฟ เป็นเมืองที่ค่าครองชีพไม่สูงและมีความปลอดภัยมากตัวมหาวิทยาลัยตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมืองมีการเดินทางที่สะดวกสบายเมือง Leicester เป็นเมืองที่ใหญ่ติดอันดับ 1 ใน 10 ของ Great Britain มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครันและยังเป็นเมืองที่เต็มไปด้วยประวัติศาสตร์และเมืองยังมีการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่องอีกด้วย

Entry Requirements
Undergraduate
A-levels, International Baccalaureate, or a foundation course.
2nd year – 3rd year Undergraduate:
Entry to year 2 or 3 may be possible. You will need to supply detailed information including
courses taken, grades achieved, syllabus and a grading guide.
If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide an IELTS
certificate, or
equivalent. Our undergraduate
IELTS requirements are:
IELTS 6.0 for Art and Design, Business, Computing and Engineering courses
IELTS 6.5 for Law courses
IELTS 6.0-6.5 for Humanities and Media courses
IELTS 6.5-7.5 for Science courses
Postgraduate
A Bachelor’s degree with GPA 2.4
Some courses have additional entry criteria such
as a portfolio, work experience or require you to have a degree in a related field.
If English is not your first language, you will be required to pro vide an IELTS certificate, or equivalent. Our postgraduate IELTS requirements are:
IELTS 6.0 for Business and Computing courses
IELTS 6.0-6.5 for Art, Design and Engineering courses
IELTS 6.5 for Humanities, Media, Law and Science courses
